ABOUT YOU
- Solid track record as a Planner within the construction and civil engineering sector
- Degree in civil engineering, construction management (or related field)
- Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Asta
- Proficient in both NEC and JCT forms of contracts
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Experienced working to strict deadlines
- Ability to assess complex project requirements and deliver solutions
- Time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at any one time
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experienced with working to UK construction regulations - Health and Safety Standards and Environmental
- Hold a valid UK driving licence and be open to travel to sites in the UK as and when required
YOUR NEW ROLE
- Develop and implement effective planning strategies - aligning with project objectives, timelines and within budget
- Work with Project Managers and Engineers to collate all project requirements, specifications and constraints to then create project schedules
- In-depth analysis of project requirements - This will include site conditions, logistics, available resources, and identifying potential risks
- Create detailed project schedules
- Monitor and track the progress of projects
- Provide regular updates to project teams and stakeholders
- Work closely with procurement, supply chain teams and the estimating team
- Continuously evaluate and improve planning processes
- Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices and technology advancements
- Support and guide junior planners
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Basic salary up to £75,000 (depending on experience and skills)
