An established contractor with a strong project pipeline is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to support the delivery of residential, affordable housing and commercial building projects. This is a senior role with real ownership. You will manage multiple projects at varying stages, taking responsibility for safety, quality, programme, and commercial performance.

YOUR NEW ROLE

  • Overall contractual, commercial, and operational control of assigned projects
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Managing subcontractors, trades, and site teams
  • Overseeing quality standards, programme delivery, and change control
  • Supporting design coordination and buildability on design-and-build schemes
  • Working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams
  • Monitoring budgets, costs, and project performance

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within residential or mixed-use construction
  • Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts, including PCSA stages
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Commercially astute, organised, and comfortable taking ownership
  • Relevant construction qualification or equivalent industry experience
  • Full UK driving licence
