An established contractor with a strong project pipeline is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to support the delivery of residential, affordable housing and commercial building projects. This is a senior role with real ownership. You will manage multiple projects at varying stages, taking responsibility for safety, quality, programme, and commercial performance.
YOUR NEW ROLE
- Overall contractual, commercial, and operational control of assigned projects
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Managing subcontractors, trades, and site teams
- Overseeing quality standards, programme delivery, and change control
- Supporting design coordination and buildability on design-and-build schemes
- Working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Monitoring budgets, costs, and project performance
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within residential or mixed-use construction
- Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts, including PCSA stages
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Commercially astute, organised, and comfortable taking ownership
- Relevant construction qualification or equivalent industry experience
- Full UK driving licence
