Project Engineer
£50,000 – £60,000 Van and Benefits
Northamptonshire
Full-Time / Permanent
Salary up to £60,000, company van, generous pension
Do you like solving problems? Are you an experienced Project Engineer with a mechanical focus and experience in the construction industry? If so, we would welcome your application for this opportunity to join an established and highly regarded company.
The successful applicant will play a vital role in designing and maintaining mechanical systems within our client's depot.
YOUR NEW ROLE
- Work closely with the team of engineers to develop practical solutions for your clients
- Create technical and commercial offers for clients
- Design engineering solutions in compliance with UK regulations and standards
- Analyse equipment performance to identify areas for improvement if needed
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Make sure all designs and systems comply with UK regulations and industry standards
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to site-based clients as and when required
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Confident user of engineering tools and experienced in CAD software
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, and processes
- MUST have an understanding and working knowledge of PUWER, Pressure Systems and LOLER
- Experience within the construction sector would be beneficial
