YOUR NEW ROLE
- Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of quality standards across multiple projects.
- Expect a mix of site audits, system reviews, training delivery and hands-on support to project teams.
- Champion continuous improvement and help ensure projects meet client, contractual and regulatory expectations.
- Lead and deliver the group audit programme, including supplier and project audits.
- Monitor compliance with the management system and report on performance.
- Support project teams with quality planning, delivery strategies and client expectations.
- Provide input for tenders and pre-qualification submissions.
- Track KPIs, analyse trends and drive continual improvement initiatives.
- Manage non-conformances, root-cause analysis and preventative actions.
- Support external audits and help close out actions.
- Deliver inductions and quality training to new and existing staff.
- Promote defect-free delivery and support teams at project handover.
- Assist the wider SHEQ function with improvement projects and training.
ABOUT YOU
- Strong communication skills and confidence reporting at management level.
- Degree-level engineering background or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, quality systems and audit processes.
- Extensive experience in construction or civil engineering.
- Internal auditing qualification.
- Proven leadership, problem-solving ability and meticulous record-keeping.
- Hold a valid UK driving licence as travel between project locations is required, so please only apply if you are open to travel.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
