We're looking for an MRICS or AssocRICS Building Surveyor with at least 3 years post-qualification experience to work independently across a broad mix of residential and commercial projects.
YOUR NEW ROLEYou will work independently across a broad range of residential and commercial properties throughout Southampton, Salisbury, Bournemouth, the New Forest, and occasional UK-wide sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Building and condition surveys
- Structural inspections
- Dilapidations
- Party wall matters
- Preparing specifications, reports, tender documents, and cost estimates
- Managing small-works projects, including JCT contract administration
- Client liaison and advisory work
- Supporting business development and mentoring junior staff
- MRICS / AssocRICS (or strong APC candidate)
- Minimum 3 years PQE
- Strong technical knowledge of building pathology and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage varied workloads
- Full UK driving licence
