This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected, multi-disciplinary practice offering genuine autonomy, technical variety, and long-term progression.

We're looking for an MRICS or AssocRICS Building Surveyor with at least 3 years post-qualification experience to work independently across a broad mix of residential and commercial projects.

YOUR NEW ROLE

You will work independently across a broad range of residential and commercial properties throughout Southampton, Salisbury, Bournemouth, the New Forest, and occasional UK-wide sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Building and condition surveys
  • Structural inspections
  • Dilapidations
  • Party wall matters
  • Preparing specifications, reports, tender documents, and cost estimates
  • Managing small-works projects, including JCT contract administration
  • Client liaison and advisory work
  • Supporting business development and mentoring junior staff
ABOUT YOU
  • MRICS / AssocRICS (or strong APC candidate)
  • Minimum 3 years PQE
  • Strong technical knowledge of building pathology and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage varied workloads
  • Full UK driving licence
