Overview
Are you a Welsh speaker who loves working with children? We have an exciting opportunity for you as a Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant at schools around the Cardiff area!
In this role, you\βll be supporting pupils in a warm and welcoming environment where every child feels valued. Your fluency in Welsh will be incredibly beneficial as you assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting students in both their learning and personal development. Whether youβre helping with literacy and numeracy or encouraging children to speak Welsh confidently, your positive energy and enthusiasm will make a difference!
Responsibilities
- Support pupils in classrooms and during learning activities
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting students in their learning and personal development
- Encourage and support Welsh language use among students
- Contribute to a positive, nurturing learning environment
Requirements
- Fluent Welsh speaker
- Experience working with young learners is preferred
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Willingness to learn and bring a friendly attitude
