Equal Education Partners is in search of a proficient Cover Supervisor who is fluent in Welsh to support various schools in the Llanelli area. In this role, you will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, providing a seamless educational experience for students and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere. You will have the flexibility to choose your assignments on a full-time or part-time basis, working across multiple schools that cater to Welsh-speaking students. This position is perfect for individuals looking to contribute to the education sector while enhancing their experience and would be an ideal opportunity for a Graduate who is interested in pursuing a teaching career and who is keen to gain experience within an education setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage students during lessons
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students are on task

  • Be committed to safeguarding and supporting the well-being of children

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Welsh (essential) and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing for us to process a new one
  • Have the right to work in the United Kingdom
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and experience of working with children, ideally in secondary school setting
  • Be committed to safeguarding and supporting the well-being of children
