We’re currently recruiting enthusiastic and dependable Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across the region. Whether you have classroom experience or transferable skills from youth work, care, tutoring, or similar, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting young learners during their crucial early years. Working alongside class teachers, you\\\’ll help create a positive, engaging classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a range of primary settings, with the flexibility to work full-time or part-time around your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers with classroom activities and daily routines
- Help pupils stay focused and engaged during lessons
- Provide one-to-one or small group support where needed
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and respectful learning space
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure pupil safety at all times
What You’ll Need:
- Experience working with children or young people (in a classroom, care, youth work, tutoring, sports coaching, etc.)
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness for us to process one)
- Legal right to work in the UK and currently living in the UK
