The role involves being a Senior Delivery Lead for our Batteries team(s), ensuring delivery on time and budget of all our Energy Market Battery projects. We have a growing portfolio of batteries that need onboarding to our trading and control systems. The role works across a diverse range of technologies in both the IT and OT space and encompasses a diverse range of project delivery methodologies from Waterfall Large Capital Projects for Battery construction to Agile for data science teams optimising trading forecasts.
You will:
- Lead an IT & OT Battery team to ensure successful delivery to their full potential.
- Ensure Energy Markets Systems are up and running for new Battery assets launching.
- Lead product development planning to enhance our digital offering in the Battery space.
- Co-ordinate with broad stakeholder and supplier groups (Everything from Large Capital Projects to Control Rooms to IT Development teams).
- Ensure Operational duties are effectively planned and carried out to ensure resilience and operational stability.
You have:
- Excellent project management skills (Financial management, RAID, Resource planning etc).
- Excellent communication skills to a Senior stakeholder level.
- Demonstrable skills in product development.
- Strong knowledge of the Energy Sector, preferably in the trading and/or renewables batteries.
- Demonstrable skills as a leader.
