Base Location: Glasgow or Perth

Salary: £58,100 – £87,100 + car /car allowance + performance‑related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available.

The role involves providing safety leadership to the Offshore Development & Construction business unit while leading a team of health and safety professionals.

You will:

  • Support the Offshore Development & Construction senior management teams in making sure we keep people, assets and the environment safe from harm by actively applying and promoting SHE policies and standards across the group.
  • Drive continued excellence in H&S performance by working in collaboration with the different business teams around risk assessments, risk controls and investigations.
  • Ensure due diligence and H&S assessments / audits of businesses, organisations and contractors are carried out when required.
  • Manage and drive your team to maximise performance and ensure our customer requirements are fulfilled.
  • Work closely with the Offshore Development & Construction business to deliver our behavioural safety requirements in line with our Safety Family Programme, ensuring that it is delivered in a clear and consistent way.

You have:

  • A professional qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or other relevant safety focused qualification.
  • A registered membership of IOSH or equivalent accrediting body or be willing to work towards this.
  • Experience gained in Offshore Wind business, Renewables or other high hazard industry with suitable transferable skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills with a natural flair for forging strong relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of seniority.
  • The ability to work in a demanding environment and deliver effectively against challenging deadlines.
