Private Equity Associate

We are delighted to offer the opportunity to an outstanding Analyst / Associate to join EQT as a Private Equity Associate based in our London office, to help drive transformative investments. As part of our London office, you will join a collaborative group of professionals committed to active ownership and supporting strong management teams. As a Private Equity Associate, you will play a key role across the full investment lifecycle — from sourcing and evaluating opportunities to executing transactions and supporting portfolio companies through value creation.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct due diligence and perform financial analysis on potential investment opportunities.
• Build and maintain financial models to assess company performance and support deal structuring.
• Prepare investment committee materials and support internal decision‑making processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors during transaction execution.
• Monitor and support portfolio companies through strategic initiatives and value creation plans.
• Participate in thematic research and sourcing efforts across key sectors.
• Engage with management teams and industry experts to assess market trends and business models.

About you:

We are looking for a curious, driven and collaborative team member who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment. You combine strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset and a genuine interest in businesses and investing.

Essential skills and experience:

• Ideally 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or related field.
• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Intellectual curiosity and a passion for investing.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work independently, taking ownership and responsibility from day one.
• A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for team success.

NB - for one of the Associate positions, fluency in Dutch is required. Please highlight on your application if you are a fluent Dutch speaker.
