EQT is seeking an experienced private capital product management leader to head the global Private Capital Evergreen Product Management (EPM) team, shaping how EQT's evergreen offerings are positioned, communicated and supported across markets. This is a senior role at the heart of EQT's rapidly scaling evergreen platform, combining meaningful people leadership with hands-on product expertise and cross-functional influence.
About the Team
The Evergreen Product Management team globally manages EQT's evergreen fundraising platform, driving excellence, scalability and innovation across product positioning, fundraising preparation and the full product lifecycle. The Private Capital EPM team works closely with Coverage, Fund Strategy and senior leadership to ensure EQT's evergreen offerings are compellingly articulated and consistently supported across regions and distribution channels.
About the Role
As Team Lead for Private Capital Evergreen Product Management, you will set the strategic direction for a global team while remaining hands-on in shaping product narratives and fundraising deliverables that resonate with investors and distributors worldwide. You will be the senior point of accountability for private capital evergreen product management, ensuring the team operates as a cohesive, high-performing unit with clear priorities and strong cross-functional partnerships. This role currently has 3 direct reports, with the team expected to grow over time.
- Lead, mentor and develop the global Private Capital EPM team, establishing clear direction, quality standards and a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Own product positioning for EQT's private capital evergreen offerings, ensuring a differentiated, consistent narrative across regions and distribution channels.
- Oversee core fundraising assets and product lifecycle deliverables, ensuring all materials are accurate, compelling and ready for external use.
- Lead EPM's contribution to investor diligence, complex product-related RFI responses, distributor onboarding and selected client engagements.
- Shape timely product and market insights, thought leadership, trigger-event messaging and updates for investors and senior leadership.
- Drive process standardisation, workflow optimisation and automation to support continued platform growth and scalability.
- Act as a senior partner to Coverage, Fund Strategy and other internal teams, ensuring effective coordination and clear cross-functional ownership.
About You
You are a thoughtful, commercially minded leader with deep private markets knowledge (ideally within private equity) and a genuine commitment to developing people and raising standards. You bring both the strategic perspective to set direction and the hands-on rigour to deliver consistently at a high level.
What you'll bring (must-have):
- Significant experience in private markets product management, with a strong understanding of private equity capital products, fundraising processes and investor and distributor requirements.
- Proven experience in a senior product management role, with demonstrated ability to own complex deliverables end-to-end.
- Experience leading and developing a team, with the ability to set clear priorities, foster collaboration and hold high standards.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling product narratives for diverse audiences.
- Excellent written communication skills, with consistently high standards for accuracy and quality.
- Structured approach to workload management, comfortable managing multiple products, stakeholders and geographies simultaneously.
- Confidence engaging with senior internal stakeholders and clients/external stakeholders, with well-developed relationship management skills.
