About EQL Global
EQL Global is a compliance-first AI workflow platform built for institutional equity research in European capital markets. We power analyst workflows and proprietary data infrastructure covering 33,000+ companies across 89 countries, serving tier-1 institutional clients including DNB, Carnegie, Montrose, SAVR, Holberg Fonder, and Alcur Fonder. We’ve proven product-market fit in the Nordic region. Now we’re expanding aggressively into the UK and continental Europe—and we need a hungry sales leader to own this growth.
The Role
You’ll own new institutional client acquisition across Europe, particularly UK and continental markets. You’re not doing SDR work—you’re landing and closing strategic partnerships with asset managers, research teams, and institutional investors who need better data infrastructure and compliant analyst workflows.
What you’ll own:
- Direct sales to tier-1 institutional clients (asset managers, banks, research platforms)
- Partnership deals (data licensing, integrations, white-label opportunities)
- Pipeline building in UK, France, Germany, and other continental targets
- Relationship management with key accounts post-close (expansion and retention)
- Product credibility — you’ll partner closely with our product and data teams to position solutions and navigate technical/compliance requirements
Where: Based in UK or continental Europe (or frequent travel to those regions)
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years institutional sales or B2B enterprise sales (asset management, banks, data vendors, research platforms, or SaaS infrastructure preferred)
- European network — ideally existing relationships in UK, Nordic, or continental markets
- Technical credibility — you can explain API architecture, data licensing, and compliance requirements to procurement/IT without getting lost
- Regulatory fluency — familiar with DORA, MiFID II, GDPR, EU market data frameworks (or can learn fast)
- Closing mentality — you thrive on landing six-figure deals and building long-term partnerships, not volume metrics
- Hunger — early-stage equity upside, real growth trajectory, and a chance to build a sales organization from the ground up
Compensation
Base salary + commission structure, with potential of early-stage options. Details discussed directly with candidates based on experience and fit.
You’re not selling a trendy SaaS feature. You’re building infrastructure that powers real research. And you’re doing it at the right moment—before the big US platforms figure out Europe.
