This is a Senior Consultant role for a leading Net Zero Consultancy. You will be the account lead for manufacturing, retail, and financial services clients. You will lead the strategy and delivery of climate-related and net zero programmes.
Role responsibilities and requirements:
- Leading and assisting commercial clients with climate disclosures (CDP, CSRD, TCFD/ISSB) and transition plans
- Providing strategic advice and services around climate-related needs such as GHG accounting, SBTi, and ESG
- Account and project management on time, within quality, and budget parameters
- Development and support around Net Zero services
- Business development, proposals, and bids with commercial clients
Key skills and qualities needed:
- Relevant Science or Environmental Degree
- Strong project and team management experience
- Key account and business development experience
- Leadership on corporate net zero strategy and climate disclosures
- Leading and presenting workshops
- Managing bids and delivering proposals
- Advising clients on strategic Net Zero and climate-related risks and opportunities
- Completing (CDP, CSRD, TCFD/ISSB, SBTi, GHG) reporting submissions
- Excellent awareness of sustainability and carbon issues
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
