Role
This is an opportunity to join an established administration and support function and to be an integral member of EQ’s Financial Planning Client Servicing Team. The Administrator will be a key part of the wider Financial Planning team.
With regular interactions with external third parties (Platforms/Providers) as well as internally with Financial Planners, Paraplanners and other Administrators, the role will suit an individual with an adaptable and flexible working style, an ability to prioritise and manage workloads and strong communication skills.
The candidate will report to the Head of Administration at EQ.
Knowledge & Experience
- 2-5 Years’ industry experience – 1-2yrs within an IFA environment
- Excellent product knowledge
- Excellent communication abilities and confident dealing with customers and colleagues in any situation
- Confident with using a variety of provider platforms/Client management systems
- Ability to process new applications and business using provider websites and platforms – experience of different Investment platforms is key
- An ability to work within a task management system
- Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
- Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Problem solver that shows initiative
- Strong attention to detail
Role Responsibilities
- The role with involve regular administrative duties such as gathering of policy information for new clients, inputting client data onto internal systems and dealing with ad hoc enquiries from existing clients
- You will be required to give prompt and professional responses to both client and provider queries both verbally and in writing
- You will be responsible for the onboarding of new clients ensuring a first-class experience for the client from the outset including the accurate production of documentation required for clients
- You will adhere to existing EQ policies and procedures and working within agreed internal service level agreements
- You will work as part of a larger team of administrators to assist the Financial Planners with a range of tasks
- You will implement proposals for our clients ensuring that accounts are opened, funded, and invested correctly
- You will be responsible for the ongoing management of client accounts
- You will assist and be assisted by the senior members of the team in the completion of more complex work items
Salary & Benefits
The role is a full-time position based at our office near Monument in London with a competitive salary (£30,000 - £33,000) depending on experience + discretionary bonus. Other benefits include:
