Our client provides digital administration and management software for pension schemes, including a cloud-based platform designed to support administration, calculation, and workflow processes. They operate within the pensions and financial services sector, supporting administrators, actuaries, and pension scheme stakeholders such as members, employers, and trustees. Their platform is designed to enable online access, automation, and self-service functionality for managing pension scheme activities.

Role Summary

This role exists to configure the clients' software suite for their clients. It supports the delivery and customisation of pension administration software, ensuring that client requirements are gathered, translated into specifications, and implemented within the system. The role enables clients to use tailored software functionality, supports client success through configuration and training, and contributes to the effective implementation and ongoing use of the company’s core product.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

  • Configure the clients' pension administration system to meet their client requirements
  • Configure workflows, data maintenance screens, interfaces, pensioner payroll, data migrations, reports, and benefit calculations
  • Meet with clients to gather requirements
  • Communicate with clients throughout the software customisation process to obtain feedback and approval
  • Customise software systems based on client needs and specifications
  • Educate clients on how to use their suite of products and customised features
  • Engage with the training team when required
  • Create documentation for clients and internal use
  • Support the software release process when required
  • Support the software upgrade process when required
  • Manage multiple parallel tasks and prioritise workload effectively
  • Liaise with clients to gather requirements and produce specifications (including potential travel to client sites)

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

  • T-SQL proficiency
  • Experience working on other pension administration systems (e.g. Equiniti Compendia, Aquila Administrator, Profund oPen)
  • XML knowledge
  • Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (database management)
  • Software implementation experience
  • Configuration or development of pensions or financial services software
  • Understanding of business processes and workflows
  • Workload prioritisation and task management (including meeting deadlines and managing multiple parallel tasks)
  • Analytical and problem-solving capability (including numeracy)
  • Client communication, customer service, and stakeholder interaction
  • Technical adaptability and learning new systems and technologies

Core Hours - 37.5 per week, Monday–Friday

Location - Remote

Day Rate - Competitive D.O.E via umbrella

Duration - 6 months with possibility to extend
