As a Team Leader at The Rowans you will be placed at the heart of the home, working with residents to support their daily lives and well-being. You will lead the care team, champion quality care, and foster positive relationships with residents, families and staff.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead the care team at all times to ensure safe, effective, and well-led care provision.
- Support residents to achieve outcomes through an enabling and supportive approach.
- Represent The Rowans brand by maintaining a professional and welcoming presence for all team members, residents, and visitors.
- Attend and actively contribute to team meetings.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Home Manager to support overall functioning of the home.
Skills, Qualifications and Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Hold NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Experience within a similar environment desirable.
- Flexible, patient, with a can-do caring attitude and a real people-person approach.
- Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; able to learn new systems quickly.
- Collaborative teamwork while being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
