Registered Nurse (Community / District Nurse Background Welcome)

Nights 8pm – 8am
Up to 44 hours per week (including alternate weekends)
Salary up to £64,178 per annum (pro rata) depending on experience.
Role Overview
As a Registered Nurse, you will support the households with nursing needs. You will operate a model similar to district or community nursing, visiting each household and working with the teams there to implement and ensure the plan of care you help write is followed. Each household will support people with dementia and complex care needs. You will work closely with a consistent team, getting to know the people and their preferences, routines and clinical needs in detail. This role offers the opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with a more holistic, relationship‑led approach to care.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care
- Develop and implement individual care plans
- Monitor, assess and respond to changes in peoples’ health
- Administer and manage medications safely
- Work collaboratively with care companions, families and external professionals
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Support and guide team members within the households
Skills, Qualifications and Abilities
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC pin
- Experience in community, district nursing or similar settings desirable
