Role Overview: Senior Care Assistant (Team Leader) – Days: 8am – 8pm. Salary £31,482 – £34,159 per annum (pro rata) dependant on experience. Hours: 44 hours per week. Location: The Rowans, 399 Bickershaw Lane, Bickershaw, Wigan, WN2 5TE.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- To professionally lead the care team at all times to ensure a safe, effective and well‑led care provision is maintained.
- Support the people in the home to achieve the outcomes they wish to achieve – through an enabling and supportive approach.
- Represent the The Rowans brand by maintaining a professional and welcoming presence for all team members, residents, and visitors.
- Attend and actively contribute to team meetings.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Home Manager to support the overall functioning of the home.
Skills, Qualifications and Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Hold NVQ Level 3 in Health with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self‑motivated and capable of working independently.
