Senior Care Assistant (Team Leader) – The Maples, Telford, Shropshire (TF3 2LH). Days shift: 8am–8pm; nights shift: 8pm–8am. 44 hours per week, salary £30,088 to £33,519 per annum (pro‑rata), dependent on experience.
Responsibilities and Duties
- To professionally lead the care team at all times to ensure a safe, effective and well‑lead care provision is maintained.
- Support the people in the home to achieve the outcomes they wish to achieve – through an enabling and supportive approach.
- Represent the The Maples brand by maintaining a professional and welcoming presence for all team members, residents, and visitors.
- Attend and actively contribute to team meetings.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Home Manager to support the overall functioning of the home.
Skills, Qualifications and Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self‑motivated and capable of working independently.
