Role Overview
As a bank Registered Nurse at Cedar Lodge, you will be placed at the heart of the home along with the people that live here. You will lead by example, ensuring that your team members have the right level of support and guidance. You will provide comfort to those that need it most and liaise with external departments, families, team members and management. You will be responsible for ordering and administering medication. You are invited to make a difference for all residents of Cedar Lodge.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate with the management team and ensure that all relevant information is handed over at shift change.
- Ensure each person who lives in the home is supported and enabled in their own way – every day.
- Represent the Cedar Lodge brand by maintaining a professional and welcoming presence for all team members, residents, and visitors.
- Liaise with people who live and work in the home, GPs and other multidisciplinary team members to promote excellent care.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Home Manager to support the overall functioning of the home.
Skills, Qualifications and Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience within a similar environment desirable.
- Valid NMC Pin – no restrictions.
- Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; able to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self‑motivated and able to work independently.
