Are you an NHS nurse who finds there is no time to really know the people you support? Are you a Care Home Nurse who finds themselves completing long medication rounds with trollies and not getting the opportunity to utilise your nursing ability? Do you want a different kind of nursing role? If you are a community or district nurse looking for a more consistent, relationship-focused way of working, this is an opportunity to bring your skills into a setting designed around continuity of care and meaningful connections.
At Willow Lodge, we operate a Household Model of Care, where small groups of people live together in a calm, familiar environment. This allows you to move away from high caseloads and time pressures and instead focus on delivering truly heart-centred care.
Role Overview
As a Registered Nurse, you will support the households with nursing needs, operating a model similar to district or community nursing. You will visit each household and work with the teams there to implement and ensure the plan of care you help write is followed. Each household will support people with a range of nursing needs, including those living with dementia and complex care needs. You will work closely with a consistent team, getting to know the people and their preferences, routines, and clinical needs in detail. This role offers the opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with a more holistic and relationship-led approach to care.

Skills, Qualifications and Abilities
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC pin.
- Experience in community, district nursing or similar settings desirable.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A compassionate, heart-centred approach.
