We are looking for a Bank Universal Care Companion to provide daily support to residents in a 12‑person household model of care.

This role offers confirmed, contracted hours, a stable schedule within a single location, and full training in medication administration and food hygiene.

Role Overview

The role involves supporting residents with daily living activities such as personal care, cooking, cleaning, outings, medication administration, and fostering meaningful relationships.

Training and support are provided to ensure confident performance.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support residents with intimate washing/drying, dressing and grooming including shaving, hair styling, nail care, and dental hygiene.
  • Represent the Willow Lodge brand by maintaining a professional and welcoming presence for all team members, residents, and visitors.
  • Attend and actively contribute to team meetings and monthly lessons learned labs.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Home Manager to support the overall functioning of the household.

Skills, Qualifications and Abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in a similar care environment desirable.
  • Flexible, patient, and a positive caring attitude with strong people skills.
  • Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self‑motivated and capable of working independently.
