Role Overview

As a Qualified Registered Nurse at The Oaks, you will be placed at the heart of the home along with the people that live here. You will lead by example, as well as ensuring that your team members have the right level of support and guidance. You will provide comfort to those that need it most, liaise with external departments, families, team members and management. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with the management team and make sure that all relevant information is handed over at the change of shifts.
  • Ensure each person who lives in the home is supported, and enabled the person’s way – every day.
  • Represent The Oaks brand by maintaining a professional and welcoming presence for all team members, residents, and visitors.
  • To liaise with people who live and work in the home along with GPs and other multi-disciplinary team members to promote excellent care.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Home Manager to support the overall functioning of the home.

Skills, Qualifications and Abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience within a similar environment desirable.
  • Valid NMC Pin - no restrictions.
  • Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
