Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, becoming their go-to advisor for all financial matters.
- Understand their goals, challenges, and opportunities, and provide proactive, value-driven advice.
- Prepare and review annual accounts, management accounts, and financial statements for a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity.
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns, ensuring all deadlines are met and clients are informed of their tax obligations and opportunities.
- Assisting managers to provide clients with expert advice on financial planning, tax strategies, and business growth, using data-driven insights to help them make informed decisions.
- Work closely with other members of the team on projects and knowledge sharing to ensure a seamless client experience.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
- Experience within a similar role within an accountancy practice.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
- Hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, ICAS).
- Thrives in a collaborative environment.
