This is a varied and busy role where you’ll look after a portfolio of clients. This is the perfect role for someone who thrives off a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Undertaking client software set-ups for clients wishing to undertake their own bookkeeping on Xero
- Training clients on Xero
- Willing to Learn: Whether you come from a bookkeeping background or you have no prior experience in this role, you will be eager to learn as we provide on the job learning with internal training provided. A knowledge of bookkeeping software such as Xero and Dext would be helpful.
- Skilled in numeracy and communication: You’ll have good numerical skills and excellent communication skills. You’ll find it natural to talk to clients over the phone and over email or Microsoft Teams.
- Collaborative: You’ll be a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is willing to share knowledge, support colleagues and be happy to work as part of a team to tight deadlines.
- Adaptable: You’ll be comfortable with change and excited by the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You are open to new ideas and continuously seek ways to improve.
