Application Deadline 30 May 2025 Department Accounting Location Flexible Role Overview We are seeking an Accounts/Audit Senior to join our growing team in the Central Belt area of Scotland. The role involves planning and executing audits, preparing financial statements, managing client relationships, supporting team development, and engaging in continuous professional development. Key Responsibilities Audit Planning and Execution: Plan, lead, and complete audit assignments, assess risks, evaluate controls, supervise junior staff, and communicate findings. Accounts Preparation and Compliance: Prepare and review financial statements, oversee tax returns, ensure compliance, and provide financial advice. Client Relationship Management: Build relationships, understand client needs, and communicate effectively. Team Development: Support and supervise junior team members, foster a collaborative environment. Professional Growth: Stay updated with standards, participate in meetings, and promote services. Candidate Profile Experience in audit and accounts within an accountancy practice. Part or fully qualified in a professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ICAS, ACCA, ACA).
