The Operations Support Engineer is responsible for the up time of all monitoring devices in the field and timely reporting/diagnostics of all fault conditions for a key account. While this role will primarily focus on one key account, you will also be required to support other accounts as needed. The Operations Support Engineer is also required to provide technical support to field teams and external contractors.

All the above must be conducted in a safe and efficient manner with respect to work quality, strict SLAs, serviceability, commercial viability, timely delivery, and environmental considerations. This is critical in ensuring KPI’s and data insights are in an accurate, reportable format at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foresee any potential risk in relation to contractual arrangements, service delivery, OH&S obligations and inform the Operations Manager.
  • Coordinate and liaise between departments to resolve any issues that may arise in order to meet the quality and scheduled requirements of the Operations team.
  • Day to day administration of energy management systems.
  • Provide technical support to field teams and external contractors.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or fully qualified Trade Certificate e.g. City & Guilds Electrical Installation.
  • Ideally 1-3 years' experience in a service role in a similar environment, good knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Systems.
  • Sound understanding of MS product suite and Computer Networking.
  • Previous experience in submetering systems, Building Management Systems (BMS) and IoT’s.
  • A valid driver's license.
