Job Title Tool Room Engineer 4 on 4 off day 0600 – 1800 Days only
Accountable to Toolroom Supervisor
Role
To undertake a wide variety of Engineering tasks within the workshop environment.
Mandatory Responsibilities
- Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
- Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
- Represent the organisation in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.
- Promote and Display the Epwin Core Values.
Role Responsibilities
- Interpret Engineering drawings to conduct repairs and modifications on Extrusion tooling
- Utilise workshop machinery such as CNC wire eroders and Milling machine, laser welder, vertical milling machines, centre lathe and surface grinders.
- Assist when required with any tooling matters.
- Complete tasks on time and efficiently.
- Ensure quality is achieved through attention to detail.
- Work with minimum supervision.
- Work within a team Environment.
- Maintain a very high level of housekeeping at all times in the workshop and around machines.
- Understand written and verbal instructions.
- Endeavor to find new ways of doing things and learn from past experiences.
- To look to improve working practices, systems and processes in the tool room.
- Maintain good communication with your colleagues at all times.
- Adhere to company policies, systems of work and procedures at all times.
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards covering your job.
- Be prepared to undertake other reasonable duties as required.
