Reports to: Managing Director
Job Purpose: Mayfield are a leading installer of sundecks to Holiday and Residential Park Homes across the UK and over the last 35 years have built an enviable reputation for quality, durability and value. We design, manufacture and build UPVC decking to the highest standard. Based in our busy sales office in Poole, you will have responsibility for managing the sales function for the South Coast Supply & Fit segment of the business including internal and field-based colleagues as well as looking after a portfolio of Park Group customers.
Key Accountabilities:
- Achieve Sales and Margin forecast for South Coast Supply and Fit
- Recruit, coach, develop and motivate high performing sales team
- Deliver KPI’s for Field Sales (activity and revenue targets)
- Build realistic pipeline and ensure all quotes are followed-up in a timely manner
- Identify, map and target high potential opportunities
- Ensure areas are being effectively covered
- Cultivate meaningful relationships with industry stakeholders and trade associations
- Support Sales Office with quoting and pricing on complex projects
- Prompt resolution of customer disputes – 1st call resolution
- Promote Mayfield on SM and encourage advocacy
- Formulation of sales Campaigns and Promotions
- Provide Senior Management with accurate monthly reporting
- Liaise with Operations Manager and Production Manager to optimise productivity
- Identify and report on emerging trends and competitor activity
- Representation at Regional and National Trade Shows
Key Experiences and Skills Required:
- Industry related experience preferred but not essential
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role with proven track record in B2B
- Strategic thought process linked with analytical thinking
- Evidence of having professional sales training
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build rapport and develop relationships at all levels
- Stay calm under pressure with pragmatic approach to problem solving
- IT literate with good working knowledge of MS Office
- Full driving licence
