Job Title:Project Manager (Graduate Role)
Location: Telford
Hours of Work: Mon-Fri: 8:30am-5:00pm
Reports to: Head of ICT & Senior Leadership Team
Job Purpose: As a key role within the business, the position will provide project administration and management to ensure key business projects are delivered to the required timescales, budget, and business expectations.
The role will also initially help define the project management systems (PMS) used and will ensure the appropriate project controls are applied across the business.
The role will develop the project management function by promoting use of the PMS and providing PMS training to the wider business.
The role will be supported in obtaining appropriate project management qualifications.
Key Accountabilities:
Project Management System
Manage the business project office, to include:
- Programme management, including documentation and reporting.
- Project initiation and planning
- Project budget management and forecasting.
- Project reporting to key stakeholders to ensure timely decision making.
- Project close-down, including embedding lessons learned into the business.
- Ensure project controls are adhered to throughout the business.
- Any additional tasks/projects, as requested by the Senior Leadership Team.
- Some cross functional responsibility (and team working) with local site managers and their teams.
General
- Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
- Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
- Represent the organisation in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.
- Promote and display the Epwin Core Values.
Key Experiences and Skills Required:
- Ideally, a Business or Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) based bachelor’s degree.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- User training
- Creating technical documentation
- Experience of Process/Change management
- Full Driving License

- Delivery of projects to timescales, budget, and business expectations to support the strategy of the organisation.
- Positive feedback from management and peers on job performance and teamwork.
- Ensuring Helpdesk requests are resolved to service level agreements.
