Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Decking Installer to join our team. The role involves installing high-quality decking solutions at various locations across the UK. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with working away from home, sometimes for extended periods, and must hold a valid UK driving licence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of PVC and composite decking to a high standard.
  • Reading and interpreting site plans and technical drawings.
  • Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Using power tools and hand tools effectively and safely.
  • Working efficiently as part of a team to complete projects on time.
  • Travelling to various job sites, often requiring overnight stays.
  • Liaising with clients and site managers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Previous experience in decking installation, carpentry, or a similar trade.
  • Comfortable with working away from home as required.
  • Strong understanding of construction techniques and materials.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
  • Valid CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
