Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off (days and nights rotating)

Accountable to: Maintenance Manager

RoleAs a Shift Maintenance Technician you’ll provide key support to both PPM and reactive site maintenance with an ongoing effort to eliminate faults and variation within our processes and deliver right first time products in a market leading manufacturing plant.

Role Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily planned and unplanned duties providing minimal downtime whilst using safe work practices.
  • Complete root cause analysis such as 5 Why and carry out planned repairs to site and plant equipment to deliver sustainable corrective actions.
  • Record all required information through the CMMS system and update technical documentation for operations as per company works instructions/procedures.
  • Alert relevant personnel to process and engineering concerns and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Agree and complete training and development requirements as determined by the Maintenance Manager and the training plan.
  • Transfer knowledge and skills among the team and apprentices.

Skills/Abilities

  • Higher educational electrical qualification
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy.
  • Ability to use a PC / mobile device to a good standard.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good mechanical aptitude
