The Installation Trainee Supervisor plays a critical role in securing Epta’s future installation teams, ensuring a consistent, high-quality, and compliant approach to cabinet installation across the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for learning a structured cabinet training schedule and on-site experience to achieve the required standard of a fully competent Site Installation Supervisor.

Working as part of a team with the Training Team Leader, the Trainee will have a structured training programme dealing with all aspects of cabinet installation and site management experience.

This exciting permanent role is based out of our Bradford Office covering installations nationwide. You will be directly responsible to the Trainee Team Leader. You will gain practical, on-site experience under controlled supervision to ensure consistent progression toward Site Supervisor competency by learning all the following:

Responsibilities:
  • To provide effective and efficient supervision of allocated projects including the delivery and installation of refrigerated display cabinets and accessories.
  • To organise any labour required, whether it be Epta UK or a subcontractor, and to liaise with them and site management to ensure correct installation/completion of works by overseeing, identifying and resolving any onsite issues.
  • Report any shortages and works progress accurately and be able to communicate and escalate any unresolved site issues to the appropriate manager.
  • Be the principal point of contact for any site-related issues and complete and return all relevant paperwork/digital reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Investigate & justify any additional works to enable accurate allocation of costs and any additional out of contract works for Epta to back charge.
  • Liaise with “on call” dispatch about any critical shortages.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to learn to a structured training programme.
  • Use of digital equipment (mobile phones, tablets) to be able to download & use apps as necessary.
  • Ability to complete paperwork accurately and legibly.
  • Interpersonal skills: Clear communication and instructions. Assertiveness in any negotiations.
