Join Epta as a Production Engineer and play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the successful and efficient production of refrigerated equipment for the retail sector. As part of the Production Engineering team, you will help shape and improve our manufacturing approach and methods, contributing directly to our growth strategy. Based at our Bradford site, supporting a medium sized multi-disciplined fabrication and assembly facility employing 100+ staff. You will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, working alongside a passionate team that values your ideas and supports your growth every step of the way.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to add value to our manufacturing operations, by:

  • Engaging with all areas of manufacturing, identifying and evaluating opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements
  • Developing and implementing solutions to reduce process waste
  • Applying lean engineering principles, for example VSM, 5S and Kaizen
  • Conducting data collection, analysis and interpretation to measure and monitor the performance and impact of solutions
  • Communicating with different stakeholders such as managers, engineers, technicians, customers, and suppliers
  • Managing projects, resources, schedules, and budgets while ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and best practices

Your Journey

At Epta we are looking for an individual who brings a strong industrial vision with a proactive approach. You should:

  • Show a proven track record of success in a medium-sized manufacturing environment, including driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Have a minimum of 3 years professional experience in a similar role
  • Hold a Degree or HND in industrial engineering or a related field
  • Develop and deliver programs for lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, etc.
  • Have a Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
  • Possess working knowledge of Microsoft 365, CAD, PLM and ERP systems
  • Lead and train small teams through change
  • Have knowledge of health and safety guidelines
