Purpose of a Repro Operator:
Superb career opportunity for an ambitious team member in a thriving multi-faceted print and packaging company. The position requires attention to detail. You will be part of a vibrant team who pride themselves on efficient production processes and very high-quality thresholds.
Day to day duties of a Repro Operator:
- Pre-flighting/Processing client artwork
- Generating proofs/digital and hard copy
- Imposing files for litho presses
- Making corrections
- Type setting
- Load/Unload and Running of CTP plates
- Liaising with Production & taking repro briefs
- Maintaining clean work environment
- Managing consumables
- Archiving
- Running and mounting large format digital posters
- Running Xerox small format digital press
- Any reasonable request from Studio/Production manager
Required software experience:
- Workflow: Agfa Apogee X experience essential with Preps experience
- Plate making: CTP - Agfa Avalon
- Proofing engine: Epson 9800
