The Engineering Co-ordinator will provide secretarial, project planning, and administrative support to the Engineering functions and Department within Epson Telford Ltd.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administrative and co-ordination management and control of TENS activities (Technical Engineering Documents).
- Management of department documentation (Quality Management System), Toolbox Talks etc.
- Control and management of Engineering Assets.
- Maintain the day-to-day running of Databases and Spreadsheets and issue relevant reports.
- Raising requisitions for Departments both manual (Vendor not approved) and raising Purchase Orders through SAP.
- Resolve queries given by Departments in a timely and professional manner.
- Co-ordinate Maintenance Schedules and ensure effective communication and timings of such plans to all stakeholders.
- Manage the filing system and ensure all documentation is archived (TENS, drawings, Issuing of Data).
- Ensure that all reports are produced correctly.
- Taking minutes in meetings and making sure they are cascaded correctly.
- Ensuring that all documentation is up to date in and around Engineering Departments.
- General Administration duties.
- Project Schedule creation, management and updates.
- Obtaining quotes, obtaining internal approval and raising POs from Suppliers when requested.
- Liase with Suppliers to ensure quick and precise delivery.
- Updating Budget sheets/Cap Ex Engineering system Audits.
Qualifications required (desirable):
- IOSH Level 3.
- CIPS Level 3.
- Engineering Level 3.
Essential experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Desirable experience:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced Manufacturing environment.
Specialist Training Required:
- Previous Engineering knowledge, environment or exposure.
