The Engineering Co-ordinator will provide secretarial, project planning, and administrative support to the Engineering functions and Department within Epson Telford Ltd.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administrative and co-ordination management and control of TENS activities (Technical Engineering Documents).
  • Management of department documentation (Quality Management System), Toolbox Talks etc.
  • Control and management of Engineering Assets.
  • Maintain the day-to-day running of Databases and Spreadsheets and issue relevant reports.
  • Raising requisitions for Departments both manual (Vendor not approved) and raising Purchase Orders through SAP.
  • Resolve queries given by Departments in a timely and professional manner.
  • Co-ordinate Maintenance Schedules and ensure effective communication and timings of such plans to all stakeholders.
  • Manage the filing system and ensure all documentation is archived (TENS, drawings, Issuing of Data).
  • Ensure that all reports are produced correctly.
  • Taking minutes in meetings and making sure they are cascaded correctly.
  • Ensuring that all documentation is up to date in and around Engineering Departments.
  • General Administration duties.
  • Project Schedule creation, management and updates.
  • Obtaining quotes, obtaining internal approval and raising POs from Suppliers when requested.
  • Liase with Suppliers to ensure quick and precise delivery.
  • Updating Budget sheets/Cap Ex Engineering system Audits.

Qualifications required (desirable):

  • IOSH Level 3.
  • CIPS Level 3.
  • Engineering Level 3.

Essential experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Desirable experience:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced Manufacturing environment.

Specialist Training Required:

  • Previous Engineering knowledge, environment or exposure.
