Epson Telford Limited was established in 1987 and operates a 50‑acre, 24/7 manufacturing site, being the only European manufacturing and distribution hub for ink cartridges and textile inks. Quality and innovation drive our Cleanroom environment, in‑house machinery and 6‑axis robots.

Hours of Work
Standard days (throughout 6‑month probation period) – Monday to Thursday 8:30‑5:00 pm and Friday 8:30‑4:00 pm.
Two Rotational (after successful 6‑month probation) – Week 1: Monday‑Thursday 6:00‑2:00 pm and Friday 6:00‑1:00 pm; Week 2: Monday‑Thursday 2:00‑10:00 pm and Friday 1:00‑8:00 pm.
Main Job Functions
- Help the Moulding department achieve KPI targets by ensuring all equipment is maintained and ready for production in a timely manner.
- Provide expert support and knowledge to Moulding engineers and technicians regarding the engineering aspects of the moulding process.
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of maintenance for the moulding machinery and ancillary equipment.
- Investigate, propose and implement continuous machine improvements, capturing pre‑ and post‑data to verify changes.
- Analyze quality DPM, customer complaints and machine performance to ensure improvements are correctly focused.
- Mentor junior team members.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure health, safety and welfare of all staff within the department.
- Carry out relevant risk assessment and safe systems of work where necessary.
- Report all accidents and near misses and implement countermeasures promptly.
- Work towards relevant standards to ensure all process improvements enhance product quality; assist production teams with quality issues and propose solutions to reduce DAS levels.
- Maintain accurate documentation reflecting all changes.
- Obtain multiple quotes and engage vendors to ensure quality of purchased items and cost control.
- Ensure work focuses on achieving plans, communicate delays to relevant parties, propose solutions to line stoppages and maintain maximum uptime.
- Make continuous improvement a focal point on all projects.
- Support achievement of Q2E projects across the production department.
- Control improvement works from cradle to grave, keeping all stakeholders informed.
- Utilize MUDA process to eliminate unnecessary tasks.
- Maintain two‑way communication among all department members.
- Assist with training to ensure machines are operated safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to company policies, particularly regarding turning off unused equipment and lights.
- Ensure waste streams are properly segregated.
- Promote company‑wide activities such as Suggestion Scheme, SGA’s, 5S, TQC Activities.
