As Senior Finance Analyst – Service Operations, you will play a key role in understanding, planning and improving the cost performance of our service business across the UK & Ireland and Nordic regions. Working as part of the European Service Finance team, you will combine financial analysis, forecasting and modelling to provide clear insight into the factors driving business performance. You will analyse complex operational cost structures, develop robust plans and forecasts, and support decision-making through scenario modelling and business case development. This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional who enjoys turning large and complex datasets into meaningful insights and helping the business make better decisions.
What You Will Do:
- Analyse service cost performance across the UK & Ireland and Nordic regions, identifying key cost drivers, trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead cost planning and forecasting activities, developing accurate budgets and outlooks based on operational and financial drivers.
- Build financial models, scenario analyses and business cases to support decision-making and evaluate the impact of proposed changes.
- Translate complex operational and financial data into actionable insights for regional and European stakeholders.
- Develop a strong understanding of service delivery processes and operating models to explain performance and improve cost transparency.
- Support financial governance through partner claims validation, cost control activities and allocation processes.
What You Will Bring:
- At least 5 years' experience in financial analysis, cost analysis or operational performance analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with experience identifying cost drivers, analysing trends, building forecasts and solving complex business problems.
- Experience working in operationally complex environments such as manufacturing, engineering, logistics, field service, supply chain or similar industries.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets, financial models and scenario analysis.
- Ability to translate data into clear business insight and influence decision-making across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with SAP, SAP BW, SQL, Power BI or other analytical tools would be advantageous.
