About the role
The role of the Community Services Driver Technician is to support the team by delivering Meals at Home, transporting residents on our Transport from Home service and installing Community Alarm and Telecare. Training will be provided. The ideal candidate will need a background in community support services and be able to drive accessible vehicles up to a D1 licence.
Key responsibilities
- Be organised, able to work independently and effectively within a team; manage time well to meet service needs.
- Show excellent people skills and have driving experience.
- Deliver a person-centred approach to service members and be core to the daily delivery of our services to customers.
Requirements
- Background in community support services.
- Valid driving licence up to D1 (training can be provided if successful).
- Enhanced DBS check (post).
