At Epsom & Ewell Borough Council, we are committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of our community. Our Community and Wellbeing Centre provides vital services to older and vulnerable residents, including those living with dementia. We are now seeking a compassionate and driven Senior Co-Ordinator to lead our Wellbeing Daycare services and help shape the future of community care in Epsom & Ewell.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for the day-to-day management of the centre and its services, including the Dementia Hub, Community Transport, and Meals at Home. You will lead a dedicated team of Coordinators, Care Assistants, and Service leaders, Driver Technicians and volunteers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care and support.
You will:
- Lead and support a multidisciplinary team
- Oversee service delivery and compliance with health and safety standards
- Manage budgets, set fees, and contribute to business planning
- Engage with clients and families to ensure personalised, holistic care
- Promote the centre and community services to the wider community
- Coordinate events, activities, and volunteer support
Proven leadership and team management experience
- Experience working with older people and vulnerable adults
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A person-centered approach with a focus on wellbeing and independence
- IT literacy and confidence using Microsoft Office and databases
- A relevant qualification in health, social care, or community services (IOSH desirable), Disability Confident
