Support clinical education placements for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Recruit future supervisors from the GPN, community nursing and AHP workforce inline with professional requirements. Develop and lead learning sets to support supervisors to meet their continuingprofessional development requirements. Coordinate supervision provision and ensure the assessment of students is asrequired by the provider organisation.

Provide leadership for both education and service delivery. Take responsibility for own professional development, maintaining a sound level ofprofessional knowledge, skills and behaviour, meeting professional standards asappropriate. Act as a role model within the health community demonstrating high standards ofpractice and a professional attitude at all times. Maintain confidentiality and manage information sensitivity, acting as role model forcolleagues.

To communicate effectively in difficult situations and sometimesaggressive/antagonistic situations and provide constructive feedback.
