As a porter you will be responsible for moving patients, medical equipment, medical notes and many other things around our hospital. Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust provides a range of medical services to approximately 490,000 people living across southwest London and northeast Surrey. In addition, we provide more specialist services, in particular renal and neonatal intensive care, to a wider area, covering parts of Sussex and Hampshire. We serve an area that is rich in diversity, with a mix of urban and rural areas, and differing levels of quality of life. Together with our colleagues at NHS Surrey and NHS Sutton and Merton, we work to make sure that we deliver the best possible care to the communities we serve.

Whilst this can be a physically demanding role it is also an incredibly rewarding one where staff have the chance to make a real difference to patient experience. With a wide range of tasks that you may be sent on each day will feel different with different accomplishments!

We are looking for caring and customer focused individuals to be the face of our busy and dynamic portering team. If you are looking to give our patients the best possible care and work as an effective member of our hospital we will provide you training in all other areas. We work with our staff to ensure that they are the best that they can be! We operate 24 hours a day and have a range of shifts and rotating shift patterns available.
