Deputy Chief Operating Officer & Director of Elective Care
Responsibilities
- Deputise for the Chief Operating Officer across the operations portfolio and provide daily leadership of Trust operations.
- Lead on delivery of the Trust's core performance and quality standards, with a particular focus on Planned Care.
- Support Divisions with key performance and quality standards, including RTT, DM01 Performance and Cancer Standards.
- Support services in Planned Care to deliver non-elective demand.
- Collaborate with Divisional Directors of Operations (DDOs) to lead improvements by engaging with clinical teams and implementing service changes underpinned by clear trajectories and national delivery requirements.
- Provide leadership and direction for directorate leadership teams, ensuring the division delivers the Trust's strategy and effective management underpinning service delivery.
- Lead designated trust-wide developments that cut across the organisation, integrating and streamlining services.
