Responsibilities
- Deliver community paediatric outpatient clinics, including neurodevelopmental and neurodisability clinics.
- Undertake assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing management of children with developmental delay, ASD, ADHD, DCD, and neurodisability including cerebral palsy.
- Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and joint working with therapy services and education partners.
- Provide medical advice and reports to support Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) assessments.
- Ensure high standards of clinical care in line with GMC guidance and Trust policies.
- Contribute to clinical governance activities, including audit, peer review, and service improvement.
- Support teaching and supervision of junior doctors, trainees, and medical students.
- Participate in appraisal, revalidation, and job planning processes.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across paediatrics and partner organisations to support integrated service delivery.
