The Endoscopy/Day case Units at St Helier need you! We provide a full range of Endoscopy diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for 16,000 patients per year and Day Case facilities for a variety of surgical specialties. The service is usually provided Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic staff nurse.

Principal Duties:

  • Provide specialised care to meet the needs of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures and work as part of a team adhering to national and local policies, guidelines and procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of care and safe practice within the endoscopy suite and document care appropriately.
  • Practice autonomously in accordance with the NMC code of professional practice.
  • Commit to personal professional development.

Qualifications:

Previous experience and knowledge of Endoscopy or day case is desirable but not essential.
