The StaffBank for Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust are seeking enthusiastic & experienced Community Health Care Assistants to join our Staff Bank workforce. This role is with Surrey Downs Health and Care (SDHC).
Organizational Context
Surrey Downs Health and Care delivers care closer to people's own communities through its Primary Care Networks and partnerships with local NHS organisations. The partnership includes the three GP federations GP Health Partners, Dorking Health Care and Surrey Medical Network, CSH Surrey, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust and Surrey Council County.
Required Competencies:
- Clinical Observations – Temp, Pulse, BP lying and standing; Respiration; Pulse Oximetry; Blood Glucose Monitoring
- General Hygiene needs / Mouth Care Practice
- Pressure Ulcer Care and Treatment of Pressure ulcer
- Wound Care – Simple dressings
- Aseptic Non Touch Technique
- Basic Catheter Care
- Venepuncture
- Injection – SC e.g. Insulin and Dalteparin
- Coaguchek – INR's
Pay and Working Conditions: For new entrants into the NHS, your pay under the Agenda for Change or Medical & Dental Pay Bands, will normally be set at the minimum of the pay band as advertised.
