This role at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust offers the opportunity to contribute to patient and staff outcomes within the South West Thames Renal and Transplant Division.
The Divisional Director of Nursing, together with the Divisional Director of Operations and Divisional Medical Director, is responsible for delivering effective integrated clinical, operational and financial performance of the Division.
The post holder will help develop renal services across the Division geography and work with colleagues at St George's Hospital to improve care across the catchment area for the Group.
The role includes leadership on quality, safety and patient experience and contributes to the Quality Improvement plan and the Corporate Nursing agenda, with a portfolio that reflects these delegated responsibilities.
Responsibilities Lead on quality, safety and patient experience across the Division; contribute to the Quality Improvement plan and Corporate Nursing agenda; maintain a portfolio that reflects these responsibilities as delegated by the Site and Group Chief Nurse.
Own the nursing strategy for the Division and ensure effective implementation of national and local strategies to achieve service objectives within available resources.
Provide proactive and visible leadership across four key areas: service leadership, people and personal leadership, quality leadership and collaborative leadership.
Develop renal services across the South West Thames Renal and Transplant Division geography; work closely with colleagues at St George's Hospital; identify opportunities to collaborate to deliver the best care across the catchment area.
Take the lead on the Division's integrated clinical, operational and financial performance in line with Division objectives.
