Job Responsibilities

  • To at all times, comply with the GMC's guidance on 'Good Medical Practice' as amended or substituted from time to time.
  • To ensure that patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
  • To undertake duties as defined within the attached job plan in so far as practicable and in agreement with your Clinical Director.
  • To be responsible and managerially accountable for the reasonable and effective use of Trust resources that you use and influence, and professionally accountable to the Medical Director.
  • On commencement to ensure personal attendance at the Trust's corporate Induction (or arranged Consultant Induction).
  • To participate in the Trust's Statutory & Mandatory training programme.
  • To be responsible for the Clinical Management of in and out patients under your care.
  • Review ward referrals either in person or to give advice to junior members of the team.

Epsom and St Helier are looking for an enthusiastic passionate Consultant to join their experienced team. This 8PA post in Dermatology will be across both Epsom and St Helier sites and will support the further development of Dermatology services. The post holder will undertake a range of outpatient clinics including Two Week Rule; General and Minor Procedure with Paediatric Dermatology as an essential. Expertise in any sub‑speciality which enhances the department's reputation such as Inflammatory/ complex cases, Phototherapy, Biologics would also be desirable.
