We are looking to recruit a new Consultant into our Acute Medicine Service to join a dynamic and enthusiastic team of acute physicians at St Helier Hospital. We run a consultant led service on the AMU with strong specialty in‑reach support and have a newly renovated, dedicated Same Day Emergency Care Unit (SDEC) that runs in collaboration with Emergency Medicine and provides same day medical assessment care to lower acuity patients, strengthening and improving admission avoidance.

Successful applicants will join a team of AMU consultants developing and providing exciting new services within acute medicine within a trust recently identified as one of the trusts in London to receive £500 million for a new acute hospital facility in Sutton (expected 2025).
